Resume after cancelling a COME APK installer

Cancelling Android's installer can leave the downloaded file intact while leaving the app unchanged. Check both states before trying again.

Confirm the cancellation

If you chose Cancel before completion, do not assume the app installed. If you were updating, inspect the current installed version rather than guessing that it changed. The browser may still list the APK as downloaded.

Review why you cancelled

A source doubt, unexpected identity or warning should be resolved first. Do not reopen the file repeatedly hoping the message disappears. If you simply needed more time, check the source and current details again before continuing.

Use the same clear checkpoint

Once the concern is resolved, open the completed intended file through Android's normal route. Preserve the existing app during an update and keep Play Protect on. A new download is needed only if the original file is no longer appropriate or complete.

A useful next step

Return to installation when you can make a deliberate decision about the prompt that stopped you.
